Adnan Khan, the talented actor seen in iconic roles like Viaan in Katha Ankahee and Kabeer in Ishq Subhan Allah, shared his thoughts on the famous social media influencers vs actors debate.

We see many content creators getting opportunities to be part of Television, web series, and films because they have an audience and face value that appeals to the digital audience. Some famous television actors openly vocalized their disappointment with how influencers get opportunities without having talent or going through a proper audition process. On the other hand, many influencers expressed how difficult their work is and how much effort it takes to make content.

Commenting on this debate, Adnan Khan shared his thoughts with Mestarlet Entertainment: "If someone wants to make a performance-oriented film, they will take an actor any day. I am not saying influencers are bad actors. I am sure they are great in their place. However, someone who is a specialist in acting will give you something else on another level."

He further added," Today, the word is influencers. Before, it was models. Many producers would take better-looking human beings, aka models, than actors for specific projects. It depends from project to project. For example, you will never see Sanjay Leela Bhansali take an influencer over an actor as he wants his artists to act. If someone wants just looks, he will take influencer."
