Yukti Kapoor and Mudit Nayar who will soon be seen in Star Plus’s most anticipated show, Keh dun Tumhein got on a conversation with us where they spilled beans on their upcoming show, chemistry, characters and their past work. Keep reading!

What do you think are unique aspects of Kehdun Tumhein?

Mudit Nayar: There are a lot of new things about the show. We have tried breaking the stereotypical television patterns. The colors, locations, and theme is very unique. We have executed this in every space. We are very happy with the result so far. It is great to see such an overwhelming response from the audience. They have loved the promo so we are confident that they will love the episodes as well.

What do you want to convey to the audience about Keerti and Vikrant’s character?

Yukti Kapoor: Keerti is a single mother to a six year old son. There are certain things that happened in Keerti’s past and as a result of them, she wants to start her life fresh. She is a writer by profession and wants to write a new book. Hence, she chooses to go to Paanchgati so she can write her book with focus and clarity. There is a mystery and romance element to the show. Keerti is a very strong headed woman. Keerti also has a very normal and relatable look. You won;t find her in television stereotypical looks. She has a very happy personality and spreads positivity wherever she goes. The audience will fall in love with Keerti just like I have.

Mudit Nayar: I am playing the character of Vikrant who is respected by people around him. He is a very influential person and he is very focused in his life. He is a chemistry teacher. There is a lot of mystery around him which will unfold as the show goes on.

People love you guys from your past shows so how would this show be different than what both of you have done in the past?

Mudit Nayar: Both of these are very different from what type of leads you see on television. We can’t reveal much but the promo gives an idea and it seems that the public has accepted this.

Yukti Kapoor: Fans have seen me in a very tomboyish look in my last two shows but they will see me as a mother here. Hence, they will see me in a very different light. They are very excited to see us in a new light.

What kind of bond do you both share offscreen?

Mudit Nayar and Yukti Kapoor: Our bond is very fun, positive, and smooth. From day 1, we are good friends. We live further away from our family because our set is not in Mumbai. So we have become a family. The whole unit is family.

Because of this, we are able to show good chemistry on screen. There is a lot of understanding between us.

What is the best thing about each other?

Mudit Nayar: She is very much like me. She is very sincere with her work. She has fallen in love with her character so she is doing her part very well.

Yukti Kapoor: Mudit is exactly like a co-actor I was manifesting. He is very serious and passionate about his work. He is also a very fun loving person. Mudit respects his work a lot.

There is news that Gulki Joshi is going to be a bigg boss, what do you have to say about that?

Yukti Kapoor: Gulki Joshi is apt for the show. It is going to be fun to see her in the show. I would actually call her after this to see if this news is true.
