Shakti Arora has been garnering a lot of love with his stint as Professor Ishaan in Star Plus’ loved show Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. The actor, in an exclusive conversation with Mestarlet opened up on all the comparisons between the current track of the show and that of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.

When we asked the actor about the show being compared to Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Shakti said, “I do not watch my show most of the times, I see it on Instagram in little bit clips here and there so dusre shows ko dekhne ka toh sawal hi paida nai uthta (There is no question of watching any other show). So, I do not think I am aware of the story of any other show on television right now. And even if they are doing it, there is a thing called ‘formula number 44.’ People follow the template and if it has given TRPS in the past then they follow it so that they garner TRPS and I think they are doing the right thing because until you do not get the TRPs, how are you going to keep the audience happy?”

For the unversed, comparisons between the current track of Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and that of the track in the past of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been doing rounds for a while now. Fans of both the shows have been finding uncanny resemblance in both the tracks.
