After being part of the TV show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, actress Kanchi Singh hasn't taken up another TV show. She wanted to try her luck in movies and is waiting for a big opportunity.

She says, "Honestly, I was trying for movies. Every actor, at some point, wants to enter Bollywood. I am still trying; I'm working on it. Let's see when it happens."

Kanchi loves the TV industry and acknowledges its growth. "It has progressed, and I think many TV actors now get chances in movies. Nepotism, I feel, has decreased. Actors like Mrunal Thakur and Shehnaaz Gill are inspirations. They started in TV and are now successful in Bollywood."

"If given a chance, I wouldn't want to leave television. I would definitely do a TV show or play a lead. Today, many TV actors have more fans than Bollywood actors and are doing really well. They have become household names."

Talking about her future plans, she says, "I want to get into Bollywood or play a lead on TV. I believe in destiny, so wherever it takes me, I'll be there."
