Indian Television: Top 5 shows we want to see with season 2
The Indian television industry has introduced many shows that went on to become TRP toppers and went on to run for years. However, there are a few shows that audiences still wish to see in season two. These shows had a unique storyline and execution that went on to make an extraordinary place in the audience's hearts.
Let's take a look at five shows that we think deserve to be back with a season 2:
Tere Liye:
The show was a massive hit among viewers but ended abruptly due to the tassel between Star Plus and Ekta Kapoor. The show could show many tracks that were scrapped because the channel and production could never come on the same page. Fans loved the chemistry of Harshad Chopda-Anupriya Kapoor and missed them onscreen to this date.
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein:
Yeh Hai Mohabbatein ran for six years, but the fans could never get enough of their beloved Ishra and Raman-Ishita and still wish to see the show back again. Many shows went on to copy YHM, but the magic that YHM had was missing in all the shows. The show was known for its remarkable performances, heartfelt chemistry and unique concept.
Bidaai:
This show is not talked about enough, but Bidaai was Rajan Shahi's first venture as a producer and was Star Plus's flagship show. The show beautifully demonstrated the bond between two sisters and was known to highlight the social message of being dark-skinned in India.
Sasural Genda Phool:
It won't be an understatement to say that Sasural Ghenda Phool was one of the most positive shows on television. The show was full of comedy and romance, making it a breath of fresh air among stereotypical saas-bahu shows and cliche love stories. Even though the show was brought back, it did not replicate the success of season 1, as Ragini Khanna, aka Suhana, was not part of it. The show could work wonders if it returns with the same cast.
Bepannah:
Bringing two extremely popular and seasoned actors, Harshad Chopda-Jennifer Winget, onscreen, Bepannah was the most anticipated show of Colors TV and not only lived but exceeded expectations. The love story of Zoya-Aditiya was endearing, and fans wish to see more of them.
