Remembering Rituraj Singh: Nivedita Basu Pays Tribute to a Remarkable Talent

Nivedita Basu, Senior VP at Atrangii Group, expresses deep sadness over the passing of veteran actor Rituraj Singh. The 59-year-old, known for his three-decade-long career in TV, films, and web series, left an indelible mark on viewers with each performance.
“It's devastating to hear about his passing. My heart goes out to his family and loved ones during this difficult time. Rituraj's sudden demise is a profound loss for the entertainment industry. His talent, dedication, and warm personality will be greatly missed,” she said.
Nivedita reveals her plan to offer him a show on Atrangii, expressing regret that she would never get a chance to discuss it with him.
“I was actually going to offer one of my Atrangii shows to him. Unfortunately, we couldn't even reach him for this. It’s really sad, and I read everyone’s tribute to him, and I totally agree with them that he was a loving person. That’s a quality very few men have,” she said.
Rituraj was part of Nivedita’s debut production TV show “Meri Awaaz Hi Pehchaan Hai,” an experience she describes as enriching and fulfilling.
“Working with him was a true delight, and it made the whole process even more memorable. His dedication, passion, and expertise were evident in every aspect. Rituraj exhibited remarkable professionalism and a deep understanding of the craft. His ability to immerse himself in the character and bring it to life was truly remarkable,” she added.
Nivedita praises Rituraj's positive attitude, humility, and willingness to learn, making him a pleasure to work with. She emphasizes his lasting impact as a true artist committed to perfection and hard work.
